Many customers turn to a hidden dog fence as an affordable solution to contain their pets but then find when the box arrives that they are unable to install the system or indeed that they have unsuccessfully installed their dog fence. All dog fence systems all use a radio signal, 99% of systems use an AM transmission and depending on the frequency and type of modulation your pet fence may need to be installed away from electrical sources, cables, metal fencing etc. Pet Fence can advice you of the best route to take to get the best out of your system, this may not be your first choice of boundary route but it is important to consider these aspects when installing your system. Also creating right angles or alley ways may cause erratic signals which can usually be avoided if the cable is correctly installed.

How do I proceed?

Pet Fence installations will send you a no obligation quote. Once the quote is accepted we will book you in for your installation. The engineer will arrive and assess the boundary route for your dog fence system and advice on the best route and installation method for your particular system. It is important to note that no two systems are the same and that the route may need to differ depending on your make of pet fence.

Our engineer will install your boundary cable and transmitter box. He will check that your system is operational and you will then be ready to commence your training as per the manufacturer’s handbook for your system. Not all dog fence systems provide flags for training and we are also able to supply additional training flags and training leads if required.

In order to get the best out of your pet fence it is imperative to follow the training as laid out in your manufacturers handbook. Pet Fence Installations accept no liability for cable breakage. Pet Fence installations do not offer any containment guarantee. All queries relating to the operation of your system must be referred to the manufacturer.
